Tonight I booted up my XE-TERM and when I tried to dial, I got nothing, or rather a buzz. When I tried to use the voice phone, I heard something unlike a normal dial tone AND our line was busy while the modem was hooked up, even though it wasn't on-line. The first thing I thought of was a short so I checked resistance on the four conductor input of the phone line and found nothing peculiar. Does any body else have any ideas. D. L.
