Hey there.  The ST version of the Kermit software really sucks.
That's coming from someone from the home of Kermit, Columbia
University.  You'll be MUCH happier if you use UniTerm 2.0e.
It is a far better implementation and much easier to
deal with.  You can probably find this program at your nearest
anon FTP site.  It is freeware.
