"The Sorcerer" is right in respect to CAD software -- you would not be able to live with PC-Ditto (the software emulator) as it would be waaay too slow for that type of application. However, for other programs such as the Quicken financial package, PC-Ditto (while not blazingly fast) gives acceptable performance IMHO. The other neat things about 'Ditto are that it is CHEAP and SOLID. I have yet to to find a non-game IBM program that won't run under it including SuperProject Expert and ABT's Project Workbench (both of which retail at or over $1000). I have even run GEM/3 desktop (slowly) but did have some trouble getting the mouse to operate correctly. (In this case it appeared that the mouse could not be "sampled" often enough to provide a "real-time" response to the user.) R.C.G.
