I am trying to write a shell, and I have a few questions...

1.  Not totally to do with a shell, but when you double click on
    a program to run it from the desktop, it puts the name in the
    center of the menubar while it is loading it, how do you get rid
    of this if you are not using a menubar?
2.  What is the preferred way to run a program from inside another
    program (Pexec/shel_write) ?
3.  How do you clean up after a program exits (they leave their
    garbage on the screen) ?
