About a full year ago, Jeremy Smith posted a wonderful (and incredibly
complete) article covering the world of "handheld" and "palmtop" (and some
notebook) computers. It seems that we're on the verge of another onslaught
of machines in several categories, especially between 4 and 8 pounds; and
perhaps a few handheld as well. 

Jeremy, can you treat us to an update?
