The video card must be a bus master and be able to fetch its data every refresh from the shadow RAM... The fact that the address space can be shadowed doesn't mean that the system will actually do what you want. Perhaps you can tell me why it works for your video system but not for the people who have tried it on ethernet cards, token ring cards, cards with memory for the disk controller...
