    A short time ago I tried just such a card in a compaq 286 8mghz, all was
fine, when I moved to a 386 25mghz then a 33mghz I experienced all kinds of r-f
radio frequency problems. Upon bootup the config.sys was rewritten to be 3
lines of zzzzzz (like it was snoozing) I tried all kinds of things but only
when I placed it in the last slot did it quite such an antic. Since then I have
heard of other similar probs. Too bad, was a great little board other than that
"little" problem, good luck. gordon.
  oh yes, changed to a different card all together.
