Message-ID: <8367@uwm.edu> Date: 15 Dec 90 14:45:49 GMT Sender: news@uwm.edu Distribution: usa Organization: University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee Lines: 15 Originator: rupen@csd4.csd.uwm.edu I have a PC-AT with a 1.2Mb floppy drive and a 40Mb harddisk. I haven't been using my floppy a lot. Recently I noticed that I cannot copy files to/from any floppy disk. Although a 'dir' lists all the files, and a 'chkdsk' works ok. I would certainly appretiate any help in this matter. Are there any public domain diagnostics that I can use? Also, I have no clue as to what could have happened, and I'd rather learn about it from your expert advice and experience than take it to a shop and have to pay a lot of bucks (especially if the problem is minor.) Please reply via email to rupen@csd4.csd.uwm.edu Thanks a bunch. Rupen Sheth.
