     I aggree that a new hierarchy is needed.  I am inclined to think that
splitting the group by platform may come sooner that later.  There are already
groups for desktop publiching, tex, editors and I haven't explored the Mac
stuff.

     While we are at it; who not break up comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware?
