I like some of the features. It has a 80 X 25 line screen, DOS and tools in ROM (scheduler, address book, calculator, editor), and a QWERTY keyboard which far outstrips any similar system that I have seen. He seems to be having two problems: (1) The system frequently "freezes up" on him, and will not do anything. Even CTRL-ALT-DEL will not recover it -- he has to reset the machine, which loses some of his setup information. (2) The keyboard seems to not be inconsistent. It seems to require very carefull, full-stoke compression of the keys for reliability, even though the slightest touch is all that is usually needed to register most keystrokes. I seem to recall reading that this keyboard is a redesign of a less successful one, but it still seems to have problems... What experience have other people had with the Poquet PC? There have been only a few mentions of it since I started reading this group a few weeks ago, and I would really appreciate some feedback from other users. -- ______________________________________________________________________ Alan Hamilton hamilton@tdw235.ed.ray.com
