You can get Amiga 1000s used (only lacking keyboards) for something like $150, or a brand-new Amiga 500 for less than $500. Since it's a fairly mature machine, the tech docs and development tools are good, and since it's not obsolete, you can actually get them. Plus you can always hop on to comp.sys.amiga.tech and get answers... Of course, I'm biased because I own and develope software for the Amiga (and happen to love it!), but what the heck...:-) -- Dan Babcock
