G'day,

news regarding the 68040 appears to be a little thin at the moment.  Have
many 68040 products/systems shipped yet?

Are there any real world performance (system level) benchmarks  published
yet?

Btw was the rumour a little while ago of a cut down 68030 in a 68000 type
packaging really _only_ a rumour?  { The Motorola world market equivalent
of the something-or-other-company SX chip is attractive in theory.  If it
doesn't exist, will it ever do so?  If not why not? }
