Chris, You and I keep running into each other in the strangest places! :) Actually, I don't find the $32 out of line. I've seen modem cables going for more than $40 in some catalogs. The Prometheus modem manufacturer sells hard- ware handshake cables as well, but I don't know their prices. I suspect that a mail order outfit like MacConnection carries such cables as well.
