Message-ID: <1990Dec10.062514.7872@maverick.ksu.ksu.edu> Date: 10 Dec 90 06:25:14 GMT Sender: news@maverick.ksu.ksu.edu (The News Guru) Organization: Kansas State University, Department of Computing and Information Sciences Lines: 21 I am attempting to determine how to logically swap the location of two keys on my Apple Extended Keyboard (Apple didn't place the control key in the right place for me). I assume that if I can decipher the KCAP resource in the "Keyboard Layout" system resource file, it will simply be a matter of swapping a couple of bytes around and then rebooting. Anyone have any pointers to the format of the KCAP resource, or perhaps a feel for whether or not I am going about this in the right direction? Thanks in advance! --Jerry -- Jerry Frain -- Systems Programmer Kansas State University Department of Computing & Info Sciences Internet : jxf@cis.ksu.edu Manhattan, Kansas UUCP : ...!rutgers!ksuvax1!jxf
