What you want to do is kinda possible, the problem of passing the proper 
parameters of the program  will be the biggest stumbling block for may 
applications. BUT there are some commerical programs that will allow you 
add XCMD and XFCN support to other programs. I do not know if they are 
your programs you can add them to, or if you can add them to anything.

How it is done is not too difficult to do, a bit problematic to explain. I 
do not know if you are writing software, or want to get out of if somehow?
