I believe what was implied in those docs was that Hypercard 2.0 requires 6.0.7,
not the reverse.

Yes, I upgraded to 6.0.7 almost right away, and my old (pre-2.0) version of
Hypercard worked fine.  I have since upgraded to 2.0, and like it fairly well.

Hypercard 2.0 is not free.  One must pay for it.
