Message-ID: <1990Dec10.190521.9016@intsys.no> Date: 10 Dec 90 19:05:21 GMT Organization: International Systems A/S, Oslo, Norway. Lines: 9 Has anyone tried to run NCR's UNIX using the ISO 8859-1 latin 1 8-bit character set? The low-level support seems to be there in libc.a and compiled into the utilities, and SYSV R3.1 supposedly is 8-bit clean. The lack of files in the /lib/cftime and /lib/chrclass directories makes me wonder however. Before I start experimenting, is this doable? -- Robert Andersson Voice +47 2 371055 International Systems A/S ra@intsys.no Fax +47 2 356448 P.O.
