While testing a little feature that might help me with doing my root-work I stumbled across a strange feature: alias su "touch ~/.ididsu ; su" su And then the session hangs. It does not react on ctrl-d, DEL or ctrl-c. The telnet-session can still be quit by ctrl-], but that was NOT my intention. What the h*ll I am doing wrong ? I checked it on a ultrix 3.[12] and the commando worked... Thanks in advance, PI -- PI at the User Help Desk Comp.Center U of Stuttgart, FRG 30 Years to go !
