I've written a simple lp interface that does a decnet copy to our line printer. I used the system manager interface to create a network printer and then replaced the interface with mine. This worked fine UNTIL my PI rebooted after a recent power outage. After that every lp to that printer left a core file. All the other print queues functioned normally. HOWEVER, when I shutdown and restarted the lp scheduler using /usr/lib/lpshut and /usr/lib/lpsched, lp worked as I expected. I've since rebooted the PI twice with the same results. Can anybody tell me what is happening when I reboot, and what I need to do to make my interface come up OK? I'm running 3.3.1 on a 4D25. Greg Atchity address: atchity@tc2.chem.IaState.edu
