Does anyone know if additional memory can be added to an 1100FD? My local RS
says they do not have a supported way. They also suggest that is not to say
that it is not possible.

However, since a) I'm not a technical guru and b) my 1100 is still under
warranty, I have not opened up the case to see what is inside. (A side note:
is there documentation about the technical specifications of the 1100 that
is more complete than the scanty documentation that came with my 1100? For
example, a utility program said that the 1100 has MCA bus. Is this true?
How many arms and legs would I have to pay for such documentation?)

The reason I want the extra ram is to use it as a ram disk to cut down on the
floppy shuffle running programs from the single floppy drive.

Any help will be greatly appreciated (information, cost estimates, best
suppliers, how to do it, etc.)
