Sorry nothing else worked. Have you tried the mod I mentioned? If the drive is a 25-1032C you are entitled to a free mod which SHOULD fix the problem. Just have a store send it to repair and make sure that they note on the tag that the shop should call you if there is going to be a charge. Then, if they call, RAISE HELL. Call a district manager if you have too and you'll get it fixed for free, as it should be. Mainly, just make sure that the salesperson notes on the tag that the problem showed up when you moved the drive from a 1000 to a SL. -Scott PS: do you have a non-UUCP address I can reach you at? +------------------------------------------------+ + Mail to: garee@evax.utarl.edu or call Scott at + + Radio Shack 01-8323 Arlington, TX 817-649-2518 + + If I can't help you, you're in it really deep! + + Rainy days and machine guns always get me down + + ============= The Tandy Man Can! ============= + -- +------------------------------------------------+ + Mail to: garee@evax.utarl.edu or call Scott at + + Radio Shack 01-8323 Arlington, TX 817-649-2518 + + If I can't help you, you're in it really deep! +
