Hello.
Can anyone tell me if a physical system has been found that emulates
the 'Newton's method ' fractal generating algorithm for polynomials?
 
What I understand is that Newton's method is a mathematical formula treated as
a 
dynamic system.  Are there any real dynamic systems that have been found
that act like Newton's method?
 
I'll post a summary of replies to comp.theory.dynamic sys.
