We have a shell program that mails out a newsletter to approx. a 1,000 users on the internet. The problem is that when this program starts, it takes up a lot of UNIX CPU time and make the system extremely slow. What we want to know: - Is there any public domain software or programs that can handle mass mailing more intelligently without clogging the system. - We had seen mailing from private groups and we are interested in how they can do the distribution of all their user automatically. Basically we are looking for a way to mail our newsletter to our users without clogging up the system. Thanks in Advance. -- Stephen M.
