For example, if host A accesses a filesystem of host B by nfs and host B performs a shutdown, host A should automagically unmount the nfs-filesystem to host B, host B would proceed with the shutdown only if all nfs-clients have unmounted their nfs-filesystems to host B (or after some time-out). Does anybody know of such a tool? The other thing we are looking for is for a publicly available LAT protocol implementation (LAT = DEC's Local Area Terminal protocol). We are also interested in hearing what commercial implementations are available for non-DEC UNIX systems. Any info is greatly appreciated! Please reply by mail! If there is enough interest, we will summarize. -- David Mosberger Glance Ltd. david@glance.ch Gewerbestrasse 4 UUCP: {...}!{uunet,mcsun}!elava!david 8162 Steinmaur X.400: S=david;O=glance;P=switch;A=arCom;C=ch Switzerland
