Does anyone have first hand reports to relate on rpcgen before I ask my students to use it? [For those who don't know rpcgen is a protocol compiler that supposedly hides some of the nasty details of remote procedure calls from the application programmer]. Please reply by e-mail - I'll summarise if necessary. -- ARPANet: de%cs.glasgow.ac.uk@{nsfnet-relay.ac.uk,ukacrl.bitnet} JANET: de@uk.ac.glasgow.cs Phone: +44 (0)41 339-8855 ext 5620 UseNet: mcsun!ukc!cs.glasgow.ac.uk!de
