Hello out there.  I would like your comments on a projected system 
which I would like to purchase.  The field is still open as far as 
brand is concerned, but I want to know some general characteristics 
of the system I want.

The system should be able to handle 40-60 users comfortably.  Most of 
the users will be doing word processing (using WordPerfect of some 
other one of that type -- not troff); there will be some program 
development and a few users will be working on a data base.  I know I
need several gig of disk storage for this, but my main questions are 
what processor(s) should I be using; has any particular file system 
been optimized for block operations (I assume the data base would use 
these); what kind of should I use intelligent terminal servers (I 
would assume so); etc.  Please be as specific as you can about what 
kind of system would be best.

appreciated.
