I haven't seen much in the way of discussion on this. I haven't seen anyone mention the Western Digital 7000 FASST (SCSI) controller, which comes with a driver from Columbia Software. Part of the driver package is a CDROM interface which supposedly allows the CDROM to appear as a file system under Unix. I don't own a CDROM drive, so I don't know how well it works. -- del AKA Erik Lindberg uunet!pilchuck!fnx!del Who is John Galt?
