On 4.1, the name is probably ULXBASE410. Replace UL with UD for the RISC line. In my experience, it works. We have a DECstation 3100 (4.0) doing SLIP to a VAX 6000-420 (4.0) and it seems to work just fine. Kurt in Atlanta
