I have looked at the driver sets for the Orchid Pro II and Sigma VGA Legend and find that they appear to be the same drivers (they use a common naming convention) and both are 120 dpi for 800x600. I prefer (and Tooolbook requires) a 96 DPI driver. Does anyone know of a Tseng 4000 based board which has has an 800x600x256 96DPI driver? I also noticed that the Orchid/Sigma drivers require 1 Meg for 800x600x256 while other boards can do this with 512K. Is this a "feature" of the Tseng chip or are the driver writers just poor coders?
