Yes, Microsoft's Supplemental Driver Library Disks have got a 800x600 driver
for Chips and Technologies VGA.  The SDL files can be downloaded from cica.
cica.indiana.edu in the sdl directory.  You will only need the 1st and 2nd
file (SDLDISK1.ZIP & SDLDISK2.ZIP)

Seemed to work without much problem.
