Message-ID: <12393@life.ai.mit.edu> Date: 12 Dec 90 22:05:43 GMT Sender: news@ai.mit.edu Organization: MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory Lines: 14 I just got QEMM 5.11 today, and I was pretty satisfied with it. However, CodeView (CVW, that is) seems to die after tickling the disk a few times. I tried replacing the RAM keyword with the recommended (if needed) X=.... option, but it still didn't work, and I lost most of the benefits of QEMM that were important to me in the first place. The machine is a Compaq Deskpro 386/25 with 9Mb memory, 80Mb disk, CD-ROM drive, Novell (via Ethernet), and VGA. My network login is in a separate batch file, and so it has not been OPTIMIZE'd. (When using Novell, I use XMSNET, so presumably the only thing worth LOADHI'ing is IPX.) ---- Robert P. Krajewski Internet: rpk@ai.mit.edu ; Lotus: robert_krajewski.lotus@crd.dnet.lotus.com
