Message-ID: <10925@helios.TAMU.EDU> Date: 16 Dec 90 02:38:03 GMT Sender: usenet@helios.TAMU.EDU Organization: Computer Science Department, Texas A&M University Lines: 38 I need to develop a NeWS application where two clients should be able to change each other's variables ( one of the client may also be a remote client). For example if I have a class defined as follows: var1 0 def /Class1 [superclasses] dictbegin var2 0 def dictend classbegin var3 0 def ......... < lots of other stuff> ........ classend /win framebuffer /new Class1 send def /map win send If I execute the above code by invoking "psh " from a window, will I be able to change the variables var1, var2 or var3 from some other client of the same server ( for eg. from some other window)?. Or is it possible to define some global variables inside the server and manipulate them from clients? This work is a bit urgent and I am unable to solve it. I would appreciate any help or pointer for the same. Thanx a lot S.K.
