I don't know for sure, but I suggest the following. 1) if you NFS mount your /var/spool/mail directory, and you have the 'OR' option in your sendmail.cf file, you also set the actimeo to 1: unclejack:/var/spool/mail /var/spool/mail nfs rw,hard,actimeo=1,intr 0 0 2) Get the latest version of sendmail from uunet. 3) Be care of reading mail from home, while mailtool is running.
