Lines: 17 I am looking into getting X-Windows under PC with MS-Windows 3.0 for PC connected to SUN Sparcs via LAN. Since I am totally new to what X-Windows can and cannot do, can anyone suggest or advise me as to what to look for when evaluating a software option? I have X-Vision products in mind. Haven't seen it yet but hope to get some ideas of what to look for before I see the distributor here on Friday afternoon. Thank you for all your comments and time. PS, How does the above option compare to a dedicated X-Terminal ? -- ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^ Wey Jing Ho Tel: 61-3-5732567 E-mail : sci240s@monu6.cc.monash.edu.au ^ ^ Physics Dept., Monash University ( Caulfield Campus ), Melbourne, AUSTRALIA ^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
