Lines: 17 We are using a VAXstation 3540 running DECwindows. It is configured with 24 planes of frame buffer memory. When running X Windows there are a number of visuals present, TrueColor 24bit, StaticColor 8 bit, PseudoColor 8 bit, etc. where the default visual of the server is the TrueColor visual. The question is, is there any way I can configure this so that the default visual is the 8 bit PseudoColor visual ? Oh, the VAXstation is running VMS if that makes a difference. Thanks much !
