   I am in the process of moving a GKS based graphics toolbox over to X
using only Xlib.  There haven't been many problems until trying to make
similar text routines.  I cannot find a way (relativly simple) to display
text vertically.  Does anyone have any ideas/ tricks that may enable me
to do this.  Is there anyway to rotate text using Xlib ?  How about
a rotated font ?
