My postings about MacX and its treatment of the mouse may have given the impression that I think it's a worthless piece of trash. If so, I would like to apologize - this is not true. I think it has problems, which is entirely different (I don't think I've seen a piece of software that *doesn't* have problems). Some of my own code has problems comparable to those that I've been arguing with various posters about for the past however long it's been.
