Jamal, you may have a real good breach of contract lawsuit here. They 
promised your realtive publicly in media that was broadly spread to 
many people a scholarship. Then when he gets married the day before the 
convention, they recind it. With the same flourish that they gave the 
scholarship they could just as easily in the exact same documents of 
brad dissemination given the "you must be here the day before 
convention" stipulation. Failure of them to do so constitutes fraud and 
deception in awarding of a prize. This may well breach charities law in 
your relative's state. and your department of state and attorney 
general can help you sue them I would take that tact if I were you. It 
seems NFB gets away with murder too many times anyhow. This is a slap 
in the face to family and marriage and trust of human dignity and 
self-dertermination. Go for it. Sue them for this one and catch them 
with their proverbial pants down.
