Any advice or comment to solve this strange problem will be appreciated. I had the same problem. It turned out to be a blown electrolytic in an inverter supply. It is in a shielded case for RFI reasons. If this has blown in your case, you may want to replace it with one with a higher voltage rating, although tere is not a lot of room in the box.
