I saw on the net the other day, and cannot find it now, a posting
that said Congress had just authorized the U.S. Army to fly
fixed wing aircraft with weight > 10,000 lbs.  It said that the
bill also ordered the USAF to hand over the A-10s in stock to the Army
though they would be maintained by the USAF.  

Is this real or am I being guillible.  For the person who posted it, please
e-mail some sources that I may relay them to other interested parties
without access to the net.
