I remember reading a book, "Nautilus 90 North," about USS Nautilus and its attempts to go from Pacific Ocean to Atlantic Ocean via North Pole, submerged. In this book, Commander Bill Anderson mentioned Nautilus running into a fish net and towing the trawler for some distance before Nautilus' crew realized what was happening.
