casting bread upon the waters:  <not sur ehtis is the best
place, but....

i'm looking for a base of data that contains for a
geographical area:

names  (prefer complete)
addresses
<optional but very desirable>
Date of Birth
Phone number(s)
maiden name if applicable  ( a nice touch, but not required)

would like to index search on any or combination of indexes.

system and media are flexible..  can be bought (CDROM?) or
remote database access, but the key is it's gotta be CHEAP
per search or it won't work.  example: credit places will do
this for $ per name, but would invalidate the purpose as
this cost is a small part of a total cost of doing business.


is this a dream?

innovative ideas encouraged...
