This message has one or two unpalatable consequences. Can anybody tell me what's going on and how to fix the problem? I have been running shells in Emacs for some time, and this started to happen just a couple of weeks ago. I am running GNU Emacs 18.55.2 in a Sun 4/490 SunOS 4.1; my login shell is bash, and my Emacs shell is csh. Thanks so much in advance. JCA vanadis@cs.dal.ca
