If not, how do Fortran people generally access X11 functionality? By writing C routines and linking them in? By using a higher-level package that does the X calling? By using a separate process to do the graphics and communicating to it over an I/O channel/socket/stream/pipe/whatever? By giving up entirely and poring over big tables of numbers?
