Has anyone compiled AKCL (1-257) on a sun sparcstation 1 with SunOs4.1

My compilation dies when trying to ld for raw_kcl with the following error

ld: ../lsp/defmacro.o: bad secondary magic number

I assume this is a problem with the data cat'ed onto the .o file. Has
anyone encountered and solved this problem. Alternatively does anyone
have AKCL binaries that I can ftp, or an alternate Common Lisp that _will_
compile?
