For example, does Microsoft use the same generator in all of their products (e.g. Microsoft Basic, Microsoft Pascal, etc.). What about Borland (e.g. Turbo Pascal, Turbo C, etc). Do different versions of these programs use different pseudorandom number generators? Does anyone know of any information available as to how 'good' these pseudorandom number generators are? Is their source code available? What about statistics on them? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Please EMail me at internet: Cronk@convex.csd.uwm.edu since I do not read these newsgroups regularly. Thanks in advance, Brian C. Cronk Department of Psychology University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee
