I'll heartily second to this wish. Unix (we have a Sun 4 with BSD) has a useless (read = standard) pascal. I would welcome TP flexibility as a programming tool for practical programs instead of a weirdo puritanist teaching tool. (If this statement feels provocative, contrary to my usual practice (I hope) this time it is deliberate). It is a real pity that for portabilily MsDos <-> Unix C is the only working choice. (Please, refrain from flames about C vs Pascal, else feel free :-). ...................................................................
