Is anyone out there using 4DOS with 3+OPEN? Just as the 4DOS manual stated, when I try to execute the LOGON program my machine hangs. The 4DOS manual suggests using NET LOGON followed by a LOGIN but unfortunately this does not work. I've tried running LOGON under COMMAND.COM by using COMMAND /C LOGON but the machine still hangs. The only thing that seems to work is the "last resort" mentioned in the manual (i.e. boot up with COMMAND.COM, run LOGON, and then load 4DOS with the cost of an additional 4-5K of memory). Yes, this works but I'd like to know if anyone has discovered a better solution. If it helps, I'm using 4DOS version 3.01A. Thanks!
