One shell will have several capabilities, whereas the other limits ability to such functions as ls, cd, and pwd, (or the DOS equivalents). What I am wondering is whether or not others have tried to write shells for DOS, and if so, some advice or problems, etc., that they would like to share with me. Even sample code would be greatly appreciated. If you can help me out, please let me know by writing to the following addresses: devolder@matt.ksu.ksu.edu devolder@ksuvm.ksu.edu thanks in advance, eric
