Message-ID: Date: 19 Dec 90 18:57:54 GMT Sender: news@prism.gatech.EDU Organization: Georgia Tech Research Institute Lines: 29 I recently discovered (after much pulling out of hair) that there msut be some interaction between mounted printers and Windows 3.0. Here are the facts: - You can use PC-NFS *under* Windows (i.e., load it before starting Windows) - To use LPT[12]: you should select the LPT[12].OS2 entries - LPT3 works with no problem Well there is one trick to this! - LPT3 works with no problem, iff you have a printer mounted (via PC-NFS) on LPT2. If not, redirection to LPT3 won't work. Has anyone experienced this problem? Anyone care to confirm it? It behaved the same way on both computers that I tested.... Robert -- | Robert L.
